Australian Wheat has been unavailable to the Lebanese mills and consumers for over 20 years, and more precisely, since 1975 when the Lebanese government took over the imports. But fortunately, since 1996 about 400,000 mt of Australian Wheat have been imported into Lebanon by CFM.

In a concern of ensuring a steady and regular supply of the best quality wheat, CFM makes use of Australian Wheat: In partnership with the Australian Wheat Board Ltd. (AWB) and Ronly Holdings, a U.K. based trading house, CFM is able to purchase this wheat at competitive prices in combination vessels with Turkey and Egypt.

On the other hand, we have built a relationship where we find strategic solutions to our needs, with about 20 suppliers dealing in wheat origination and trading and who are members of the board in Geneva. We also have direct relationship with wheat exporting companies in many countries in Europe.
